If any of this sounds like you
You have outgrown your first paddle.
Six to eighteen months in, 2.5–3.5 level, two or three sessions a week. The paddle that got you started is now the thing holding the rally back.
“Hindi consistent. Parang hindi ko ma-control.”
Off-centre contact sends the ball long or dumps it in the net, and you cannot tell whether it was your hand or the paddle.
“Nag-try ako ng same shot — iba yung result.”
You copy a shot from a review video, execute it cleanly, and get something else back. A thin core and a dead perimeter will do that.
“Sobrang dami sa Shopee. Legit ba yung T700?”
Dozens of ₱500–1,500 listings say “carbon fiber” without a grade, a core generation or a weight. Unverifiable by design.
“Baka after two months, gusto ko na ulit mag-upgrade.”
The real fear is not the price. It is buying twice — paying again in eight weeks for the paddle you should have bought first.
“Ayoko maging ‘expensive paddle, beginner gameplay’.”
Nobody wants to arrive at the court carrying more paddle than game. You want the one that matches where you are now and still fits in a year.
What changes
One paddle. Every phase of the rally.
FLOW is the all-court paddle in the OMRI CORE™ Series. It is built to be predictable — the same answer from the paddle whether you are driving, resetting or dinking.
01
Forgiveness where you actually hit
16 mm of Gen 3 polymer + foam core, with the foam injected around the edge perimeter. It stiffens the frame at the rim, so contact away from centre loses less speed and stays nearer your line.
16 mm polymer + foam core02
Resets that stay down
A raw, coarse-grained Toray T700 face takes the pace off a hard ball instead of springing it back. Third-shot drops and kitchen resets land short of the line more often.
Raw coarse-grain T700 · no clear coat03
A shape that does not force a choice
Hybrid, 417 × 192 mm. Long enough to reach at the baseline, wide enough to be trusted at the net. You are not giving up one game to get the other.

Still comfortable in game three
220 g with a 146 mm handle and a 105 mm grip circumference. Light enough for hand speed at the kitchen, heavy enough to hold its line on a drive.

Raw coarse-grained Toray T700. No paint layer, no clear coat, no gloss — the weave you can see is the surface the ball meets.

Frequently asked questions.
How much does the OMRI FLOW pickleball paddle cost in the Philippines?
₱4,599. That is the price on playomri.com and on every marketplace OMRI sells through — Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop. OMRI publishes one price per model and does not run comparison pricing or countdown discounts. Ordering at playomri.com adds free nationwide shipping, a paddle sleeve, two overgrips and a sticker pack at no extra cost.
Is a 16 mm paddle right for an intermediate player?
Generally yes. A 16 mm core is the standard all-court thickness: thicker cores absorb more pace, which makes resets, dinks and third-shot drops easier to control, while a thinner 13–14 mm core returns more of the ball’s speed and rewards flatter, faster play. For a 2.5–3.5 player working on consistency, 16 mm is the more forgiving of the two. All three OMRI CORE™ Series paddles — FLOW, SURGE and EDGE — are 16 mm.
What is Toray T700 carbon fibre, and why does the grade matter?
T700 is a specific standard-modulus carbon fibre made by Toray Industries of Japan, with a published tensile strength around 4,900 MPa. Naming the grade matters because “carbon fiber” on its own describes nothing — it does not say who made the fibre, what modulus it is, or whether the face is raw or painted. The FLOW face is raw and coarse-grained: no paint layer and no clear coat, so the texture you can see is the surface the ball actually meets.
What is the difference between OMRI FLOW, SURGE and EDGE?
They are the same 16 mm Toray T700 platform tuned to three different games. FLOW is all-court — 220 g, hybrid shape, Gen 3 polymer + foam core, ₱4,599. SURGE is power — 215 g, elongated, Gen 5 polymer + foam core, ₱5,999. EDGE is control — 225 g, widebody, Gen 4 polymer + foam core, ₱4,999. If you are unsure which game you play, FLOW is the one that does not force the choice.
Is the OMRI FLOW a good upgrade from a ₱1,000 starter paddle?
That is exactly who it is built for. The typical FLOW buyer is 6–18 months in, plays two or three times a week, sits around 2.5–3.5, and is coming off a ₱500–1,500 fibreglass or composite paddle. The change you notice first is off-centre forgiveness — the edge perimeter foam keeps mishits closer to your intended line — followed by softer hands on resets from the raw T700 face.
Is there any performance difference between OCEAN and SUNSET?
No. OCEAN and SUNSET are the same paddle — same 16 mm core, same T700 face, same 220 g weight, same 417 × 192 mm hybrid shape. The difference is cosmetic: OCEAN carries a blue-to-green signature with a black edge guard and black grip; SUNSET carries a pink-to-orange signature with a white edge guard and white grip.
Does OMRI ship nationwide in the Philippines, and is shipping free?
Yes — free nationwide shipping on every order placed at playomri.com. That covers Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Shipping is free on the website only; marketplace orders follow that platform’s own shipping rules.
Can I pay cash on delivery?
Yes, within Metro Manila. Pay the rider the total shown at checkout when the paddle arrives. Outside Metro Manila, pay by GCash at checkout — scan the InstaPay QR, send the total shown and submit your reference number. Card payments are not live yet.
Is OMRI a Philippine brand?
Yes. OMRI is a Philippine pickleball brand, built for Philippine courts and Philippine players, selling the CORE™ Series in the Philippines at one published price per model. The paddles are manufactured to OMRI’s specification and every measured number is published rather than described.
What is in the box?
The OMRI FLOW paddle in your chosen colourway, a paddle sleeve, two overgrips, a sticker pack and the 100 Club registration card. The sleeve, overgrips and stickers are part of the launch offer and are included at no extra cost when you order at playomri.com.
